Just about every other time I turn on my computer i get this strange pop up that says "Im getting sick of staying aside here. Maybe you should report me if they dont know me yet". Its a bit scary to see. I havent noticed any change in my computers performance, but i was just wondering if anyone can tell me what it is or how to get rid of it. thanks

You should start your computer in safe mode (before it loads windows, hit F8) and disable your broadband connection if you have one, or don't dial into your internet. Run an antivirus software. More than likely it is a virus.

If that fails, get a adware/spyware detection program (free one at lavasoft.com) and run it too.

More than likely you have a virus or a trojan of some sort. I suggest getting a firewall.

Do it this..
1) click start then run...type msconfig.exe and hit enter, a popup will appear, go to alst tab and uncheck all programs which u think cud ne spyares or causing this, just becareful u dont uncheck the antivirus program. click ok then reboot and ti shud be fixed.

If you dont know what to uncheck, just post all programs it shows here and we will help you.
