I'm currently running WinXP beta 2 build 2462. For some reason I can't get any network access. My 3com 905b 10/100 card is installed correctly and has its own irq. Since windows isn't able to see the network, it can't get an ip from the dhcp. Anyone have a clue as to why I can't get on the network/internet.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Did u join the Domain ? When not you are no member of the Domain and so you can't get a IP from the DHCP.
When you are member of that Domain did you try to give it a static IP ? Go to the DHCP and exclude one IP.

cya
I have a problem too. I restarted my xp 2462 and suddenly there where no network connections available strange isn't it ?
So I tried to search for PC names but there is the same massage as yours. However here it comes u can map network drives by \\PC name\shared_folder_or_drive.
There is no $ behind so the drive isn't at stealth.
