We have a PC that logs onto the domain at work, but it has developed a strange problem. When the user logs on (she is just a standard user) it comes up with an error saying that it can't find the roaming profile and the users gets a default desktop. Consequently she has to setup a few bits and everytime she logs off and logs back on again she gets the default desktop again.
The problem is we don't issue any profiles for the PC users or us roaming profiles for PC user (most of our users are Terminal Server users using dumb terminals where profiles are issued).
Now this user has been using this PC for around 18 months with the same credentials without a problem until a week or so ago.
When she logs onto the Terminal server (using the MS RDP client on XP) she does so without a problem.
Any thoughts??
Tim

Look at the profiles on the problem computer. If hers is listed as Roaming, change it to Local.
