In the past few days, when I tried run my picture management software, I got an error message saying that my debugger don't have the just-in-time debugging function. Also, sometimes opening a MSDN url would cause the same thing, like this one: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib... I use google to find the solution and some suggest the "Debugging Tools for Windows (x86)" frome MS. I installed the program and tried my picture management software, the debug software jump out and display the following message:

what does this mean?

PS: Before I got the just-in-time debugging error, I didn't install anything. The just-in-time debugging error just pop out for no reason.

PS2: The picture management software is call WinCV, created by a Chinese programmer. I have used this program over 6 year and never have any problem with it.

Hello!

I got this error a couple of weeks ago on a machine when trying to run a database. The only way I could get round it was to go into users/groups and add the user to the Debugger Users group. The machine kept trying to debug the program but because the user was not a debugger user it just kept crashing out. After I added the user the machine ran as normal. Not sure if this is the same sort of problem you are having but wont hurt to try.
