Here's a strange problem:
I have Windows XP Professional with SP1. I use 2 DOS apps in full screen mode which run perfectly fine, however, the color scheme is thrown off from the original colors (and they're real ugly colors, too...).
If I start the DOS app in a window first, then change the properties of the DOS window to full screen, it immediately goes to the correct (original) color scheme. However, if I ALT-TAB and right-click on the DOS app on the task bar to change the properties and save/apply to all windows with that name, the next time I start the DOS app, it still reverts back to the ugly color scheme!
By using the method I described above in starting the DOS app in a window and then changing it to full screen, it essentially proves that it can go to the original color scheme. The problem is that I just can't save it.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance! :-)
