I just had a very strange system crash take place. My whole computer froze up and became unusable. The windows of programs seemed to be opening and closing in different places of the screen, on their own. And then a red circle came on the screen, and within it were black lines turning around the circle to fill it, kind of like a clock ticking down. At this point I forced a restart... I have checked my computer for spyware and viruses, and nothing is coming up. So far, after rebooting, my system seems to be running fine, though I am a little nervous wondering if this will recur. Has anything ever experienced anything as crazy as this or know what the cause could be? Thanks for your help!

I think you are right to worry. Try an online virus check.

Do a full check, and make sure your HD is ok by doing a chkdsk /r -- then do a defrag... All should be A-OK.
