This question is for my brother's Gateway laptop. How can he eliminate entering his password everytime he logs onto windows? In other words, save his password in Windows XP.

How about going in user option and change password and just leave it blank as new password. I am not sure of that but I use to have an admin pass word and not that's what I did and i'm not ask the password anymore.

hello, I would like to know how can I set the desktop icons so they wont appear automaticly where the computer wants to but insted let me place them where I want to.
Thanks
