hi all :) i have win XP home installed on my new laptop. (which came with the laptop). about every 1 - 2 months of a fresh install it just stops booting on the welcome screen. when this happens, i have no login ability and ctrl-alt-del will not work at all. i do however have mouse control and am able to browse to its harddisks via the network. wtf ! ?? i dont understand what the problem is ? can anyone help me please. thanks you very much

Log onto "safe-mode" and do a system recovery to when your comp did start normally.
