I use the 'auto-hide' feature af the taskbar.
I have dial-up.
The taskbar pops-up and stays up for a short time everytime I connect to the internet,
meanwhile I have to wait until it goes away before I can continue.Would someone tell me how to stop the taskbar from poping-up on every internet connection ?
I do not want to get rid of auto-hide.I am comfortable and savvy with hacking the registry, there has got to be a registry fix for this.
Would someone share it with me ?
Thanks,

Have you tried to disable the connection notification (dialup) ?
I agree; computing.net does need an edit button.
