Hello, I consider my PC to be a decent speed, but is there anyway to prevent notepad or any other text reader of mine from freezing when trying to view a 1MB+ file that has a ton of text? I own a lot of popular sites and when I have to open up an SQL backup using notepad it sometimes freezes due to all of the text. What steps can I take to prevent this (hardware and/or software wise). Thanks.

Notepad is pretty slow when opening large files. You might want to try some subsitutes. I use 'Notpad' and it works fairly well.
