When i turn on my pc i get a blue screen that says "stop: c000007b bad image. The application or dll \??\c:\windows\system32\sfcfiles.dll is not a valid windows image. Pleace check this against your installation diskette."
I've found stuff that says the cd-rom drive could be bad, but i'm not sure. Any suggestions?

I've replaced the bad dll files using recovery console and the xp disc, so now windows actually loads but as soon as it does i get and explorer.exe error box that says "this application (0xc0000005) has failed to initialize properly. Click ok to terminate. When i do i get a blank sky blue windows background and no taskbar. i can open the task manager and run some programs from there, for ex. spy bot and windows media player, but i wasn't able to run internet explorer or open windows explorer from there. Does anyone know a way to fix this or a way for me to copy the files i want to an external disc via usb, so i can just reformat?
