Hey there,

I'm running XP on a Dell Inspiron 8100. Just recently the computer has started restarting at seemingly random intervals, it has happened 5 times during the past few days.
These restarts do no happen when booting up or closing down, just during windows operation. The 0x000000c5 stop code is the error I recieved..., the only reference I could find to this problem was on windows 2000. It recommended running the Driver Verifier or Enabling Special Pool which seemed a daunting task and a little over my head.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated on what to do. I have tried system restore as well, yet the problem still persists. Thanks in advance

Well, ya got yourself into this one. You either do that or reinstall the OS cuz you loaded a old or bad driver over a good one somehow.
