Specs: Windows XP
hi, i recently installed a new os into the hdd i reformatted and thats windows xp sp2. It would keep restarting after i see the window xp logo for about 1-2 seconds. I pressed f8 and disabled the automatic restart on error and i would get this stop : 0x0000007b (0xf88b8524, 0xc0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). I currently do not know what is wrong and any help would be grateful.

Boot up in safe mode and try the event viewer suggested in the link in response #1. That may give you a clue as to what is going on. As you can see in the link in response #2, there can be many reasons for this BSOD and you have to do some troubleshooting.
