hai!!

I need to configure a static IP in comp with xp(home edition) and later configure it ICS with other 4 comps also with xp(home edition).

I'll happy if anybody can help me bit detailed steps.

If you were to go to the Help and Support in the Start menu and put ICS and static IP into the search box, you will get a lot of information on using both with Windows XP.
This should give you a good idea of the resources now in the Help and Support area of this new O/S.
