Hey all,
For some reason XP doesn't play my startup music upon system startup now.It plays the shutdown music and all of the other WAV files associated with the system, but not the startup music. It use to play the music as recently as a couple of days ago.Is it possible that I somehow changed a setting within XP to prevent it from doing this? I am new to XP so I am not to familiar with it's settings, etc.I have been running into alot of these little, yet, annoying issues with XP.Is there some sort of program out there that can scan my copy of XP to make sure it is complete and working properly? I know about Windows update, but I tried to do this with the music issue to no avail.PLEASE help with both questions. This is a brand new p.c. and these little things are driving me nuts!!!...lol.Thanks again.

Control Panel and select sound and audio devices...then click the sounds tab...and your start up sound options are there...
