In looking at my Start-Up programs I did not realize that there are so many programs that kicked in when I started up windows.

Is there a way to find out what all of them are? And, if I really need them at start up. Someone told me that some could even be harmful. I'd appreciate some help on how to determine which ones I need to keep, which ones I can turn off and which ones I could eliminate completely.

Thank you all for your feedback

Nick

Check into Google for this. Type in the program and hit enter.

First of all I do want to thank all of you that have been kind enough to take the time to respond to my inquiry. It has been very helpfull.

I am a little confused with one of the suggested websites. processlibrary.com. On their home page they show isass.exe as a essential file and strongly suggest that it not be removed and not to mistake it with the Trojan Optix Pro Virus isas.exe.

Then in their(ProcessLibrary)Directory and it's also confirmed by the other Websites that were recommended, It show the Trojan Virus as isass.exe. How can I determine which is which.

Getting better but still a little confused
