I have a new IBM laptop. The start-up page is set to MSN. I've changed it in Internet Options to Yahoo but it doesn't stick. I've seen something in the IE start-up that hs specific programming "hotwiring" it to MSN. I wish I could be more specific but I can't remember exactly what I saw. Any ideas on how to change this? Thanks.

I believe you want to change the homepage for your IE. To do this, open your IE. Go to Tools / Internt Options. Under the General column, change the address of the url from MSN to Yahoo.
Hope this helps

I did that. It changes back to MSN. There is some programming that causes this change and I don't know how to undo it.

Hi ealvin,
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. From what you have said, I think you may have some parasites running in your PC.
1. Download, install, and Scan with Spybot and Adware. Delete (archive) everything it finds.
2. Repeat step 1 and see if the same thing recurs.
3. Post back, please.
Redo what

I don't believe this has anything to do with spyware. My computer came this way. As I said, there is some kind of programming that makes it open (slowly) to MSN.
