Did you follow the uninstall instructions?

Quote:

Uninstalling
Control Panel Applet: Use the Add/Remove Programs control panel -OR- delete Startup.cpl from your windows system directory. In either case Control Panel can't be open (If you are using Add/Remove programs, close the Control Panel window before hitting Add/Remove).

EXE Version: Delete the EXE.

IMHO why would you want to remove Mike Lin's Startup control panel? It's the better one over XP native MSCONFIG startup pane. Mike lin's gives more info about programs start up not included in MSCONFIG. Well, never mind, its your call anyway.

I didn't miss "its not in add/remove programs" as you mentioned which is why I
posted the directions including removing the EXE version, which is something you failed to mention in your original post.

Search your hard drive for Startup.cpl, if you can't find it them I don't know.

Bottom line, it's not an XP problem & getting snotty when people can't help you with a third party program is out of line imo.
