Hi Wayne, I used to control my startups in Msconfig but then I found a free Startup Manager and that works great. I have a shortcut Icon on the desktop. There I can enable, disable, add and remove items I want to be loaded at startup. I have only three items to be loaded, it takes only 27 seconds. This is the site to download: http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_download/0,fid,5018,fileidx,1,00.asp I could not find the version I use for this is newer than mine and it should work fine. It also has the info where in the registry to find the settings. Cheers de Peter
