I am having a problem uninstalling something from IE. It is a little Search Box, and when I search, it gives me results from Startium.com. I didn't install it, so I have no uninstaller. It was downloaded automatically from one of those sites that puts software on your computer without asking you. Anyway, I've run SpyBot S&D, and it detected the software, and I removed it, and the backups, but the search box still appears there. I wouldn't mind so much if I could disable it, but it re-enables itself in all new windows. Any suggestions?

Try Ad-aware from Lavasoft, a good alternative to spybot which may pick up what spybot is missing.

go to Add/Remove Programs and look for the following entry: SaveNow or WhenUSave. If you find it, uninstall this program.

Do a search on all your HD's & the registry , for Startium . Right click & delete .
