My niece downloaded AIM to be able to chat with friends. This is okay, but I do NOT want it to automatically start up as I do not use aol. When she wants to use it, she can click on it from the task bar. My question is, how do I delete this from the Start Menu. Thanks.

In Start >All Programs >Startup is it shown there ???
If so, then you could right click it, then click Delete.

You need to configure AIM settings by right-click on the AIM icon on your Taskbar. Click on the link below for instructions to stop AOL AIM from loading each time you boot Windows.

You can actually go to meebo.com and chat with AOL, MSN,Yahoo, Or Google talk without download anything...I deleted AOL off my computer and all the junk it installed and use only Meebo..
