Comment:

I recently reinstalled my Windows program and since then, when I restart my computer I get the following message.

Floppy diskette seek failure
Drive 1 not found
Drive 3 not found
Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utilty

How can I eleiminate this new additional step in my startup?

Go into the bios and disable the floppy seek.

And check your boot order.

Thanks. How do I get into my BIOS? I can't find anything in Setup F2, that allows me to disable any floppy seek. As far as I know the boot order is still set at default.

Should be in advanced depending on your bios.
