When I click on Email on the start menu I get taken to the Internet Properties dialogue.

Taskbar and Start Menu Properties in Control Panel....
Start menu....
Customise...
Tick Email box....
Select an Email app...

there are no email apps for me to select. I previsouly had Hotmail, Outlook, Outlook Express and Opera.

Also, whenever I right click a file in explorer and go SEND TO >> Enail recipient this does not work.

I have recently uninstalled Opera - has this affected it?

HELP!

The quickest solution, of course, would be System Restore, back to a time when you didn't have the problem.

Are you sure Opera completely uninstalled? I once used Opera myself. After the uninstall, I still had to pick through the registry and remove useless keys. 8-)
