Hey,
I'm having some serious problems with my PC. I recently dealt with the MSBLAST worm issue and pretty much did everything I found here, including downloading the patches from Microsoft (I performed this last night). Today when I started up the computer all my internet connections were gone, and when I went to fix it it only would let me select broadband (I'm on dial up). I restarted figuring it could just be a quirky Windows thing but this time the entire start menu and task bar along the bottom of the screen was gone. I've tried restarting several times again but to no avail. Does anyone have any idea? That's what I hate about downloading patches or updates from Microsoft. For some reason they always tool out my computer. Thank god I have my circa 97 Mac to get on the net for my regular PC dumps. Crazy.
