I have a dell inspiron 1150 notebook. I am using a cable modem that is directly connected to my laptop via cat 5 cable. I can access the net and go on some sites, but oddly i can't go on some random sites like google.com and gmail.com. Since then i switched the netscape and i have the same problem. When i try and go on google, it takes forever to load and eventually says "page cannot be displayed". anyone know what could possibly be wrong?
