Hi,
I have two desktop computers running Windows XP Pro. The first one i have disabled standby by going to display properties>screensaver>power options>standby
On the second computer i go to the exact same place and below the option to "turn off hard disks" there is nothing. Standby doesn't exist there.
On a laptop i have seen that option was greyed out because toshiba has it's own power options on another tab. However both of my desktop computers i have installed myself and installed copies of vanilla (straight from microsoft) windows XP pro.
How can i turn off standby when the option isn't there (not even greyed out).
