I am trying to run an old DOS program in the command prompt of XP Home. When the program starts to execute I get the following message:
Abnormal program termination: Stack fault CS/EIP = 000Fh:00001373h
What does this error mean? Can it be fixed? This program ran successfully in Win95, 98, NT and 2000.
Quite right no DOS whatsoever in XP or any NT family, http://www.windowsitlibrary.com/Content/226/03/1.html, try running the program in XP, if not work try in W95 compatibility. If that not work tryon a boot floppy, the ones created in XP work a treat. If that fails do a google search there are many sites out there with XP workarounds for DOS games
