Comment:

I am trying to install Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 and a message comes up saying Premiere Elements 2.0 requires a CPU that supports the SSE2 Instruction Set.
What can I do to correct this problem.

ss2 is an intel instruction set, introduced with p4s I think, I've installed premiere on an athlon before but it was an older version.

You get a CPU that is compatible with Premiere Elements 2.0, since your 1800+ lacks Intel's SSE2 instruction set support, simple as that.

I forgot to mention that there might be a patch or a diff version you can download, I doubt adobe would discriminate against amd and others. Then again they're just like any other money hungry corp.
