Hopefully I'm not the only one that gets this, but when i play movies/clips from tv shows in my media player or other video viewer, I get this symbol made of 9 little squares, 1 with a dot in it. It jitters and moves all over the screen while watching videos. VERY ANNOYING. anyone have a fix?

These may help .

If the repair dos'nt , try another program to isolate the problem .

DivXRepair

If you are playing avi files, you may have noticed one of the following things: - Suddenly the image froze but the sound kept playing. - Disoriented or equally coloured blocks of pixels distorted the image for a time. Using DivXRepair, you can repair corrupt avi files and eliminate freezes. This program automatically detects and eliminates bad frames.

Ace DivX Player is the best Windows Media Player replacement program, it plays movie and music in formats including DivX, AVI, MPEG, WMV, ASF, MP3, CD and Video-CD.
What Ace DivX Player offers you is what a handy movie and music player really should does: Powerful Playlist, Freely resize movie window and full-screen playback with on
screen controls.

Ace DivX Player doesnīt contact the Internet each time you load and play a file. Itīs safe!

Zoom Player

In the years of 2K+, computers and multimedia go hand in hand. You almost can't have one without the other, not at home anyway! In the freeware circle, there are a number of packed players that give you lots of things to do with your files, they also take up lots of space on your hard drive, not to mention the processing power that's needed to run the things. Well, listen up!! If you like your MP3's, movies, DVD's (using you're existing DVD filters) and other great pieces of play, Zoom Player will take them and give you the control you need to enjoy them to their fullest, all for a measly 570k of download!!!

Platform ........

Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, NT and XP

A multimedia player with a similar interface to Microsoft Windows Media Player 6.4, but has many more features specific for DivX playback.

What's new in version 6.4.6.3 :
rm's own renderer shows the video again.
new filter: mpeg audio decoder, for all versions/layers, based on libmad.
the mpeg video decoder should play smoother now when being connected to the overlay mixer.

Unreal Media Server

Efficient multimedia delivery over public networks is a challenge for modern technology. Insufficient bandwidth, network latency, paranoid firewall restrictions and many more obstacles make it very difficult to transfer streaming content to end users, especially in real-time. Existing Media servers, such as Microsoft and Real Networks ones, only partially cover growing demand for streaming quality.

Two more possibles .

Stop jerky graphics

1.Right click "My Computer"
2.Select "Manage"
3.Click on "Device Manager"
4.Double click on your Zip under "Disk Drives" ( it may be listed as "IMG VP01" or something similar - pick the one that's not a hard drive)
5.Disable the device
