Hi all, My system is infected with the Aurora spyware/trojan. I have done all the scans and the usual stuff, but when it's detected and destroyed, it makes my system unbootable, as in i will always get the blue screen then reboot. Now the only remedy is to choose the last good config that worked, but this brings back the Aurora thus not solving a thing. I have done the normal disable restore/ use safe mode, but it's no good, so I'm stuck with it until i format. What I don't like is a related program called "Winfixer" insisting on installing itself even when I choose no, or close the window. I've even ended the process in task manager, yet it continues to install no matter what i do. This is really insulting. Is there another way i can stop the "winfixer" from installing itself or "break" the programs installation? I have tried the suggestions listed here in C.N, but nothing works after removal. many thanks :o)
