I have tried quite a few methods trying to get rid of some adware/spyware on my PC, I need help. Sorry, didnt realise you were not supposed to print a copy from Hijack This until requested by an expert. I will remember for next time.

Try Spybot-S&D and CWShredder. Run a check on your pc with them. You can get them from the google.

try spysweeper, it solves all my spyware/ adware problems.

Dude. Had the same problem. What worked for me is opening the MSCONFIG window and selecting Diagnostic Startup. This prevented all the programs from jumping onboard during the start-up, Thus allowing for a more indepth search. Ad-Aware 6.0 (nice demo version) Spybot S&D (rocks) also DEMO and turn OFF the feature that sends your mouse cursor to the default (YES). That is what happens to me. Thankyou people - done the adaware, spybot search and destroy before my posting and was very suprised that it did no clear up the mess - but will tick the reccommended above and try spysweeper. cheers for the prompt responses!!
