Seems like all the sudden I'm always getting a popup in taskbar saying windows has detected spyware infection. Upon clicking it wants me to buy something to remove it. Used Ad-ware,Spybot, they remove many. (100 or so) Within sec. they are back. I need some advice as what I need to do. Thanks to you all for all & any help.

Try using CCleaner to clean folders that aren't normally emptied.

The next time the pop up occurs take note of what software it is asking you to buy. Usually the software name is similar to the spyware name that has been put on your computer. Then google for that name and ways of removing it.

Disable system restore (all old points will be lost) then reboot into safe mode. Run CCleaner (both the cleaner & the registry scanner..remove all), then re-run the anti-spy & anti-virus software. Reboot. If your system is OK, re-enable system restore & immediately create a restore point.

Download "Combofix" from this link, save it to your desktop and run it. It will take care of the scam adware pop ups, it's designed for them especially.

Info only. I ran combofix for a test. It drove Comodo nuts and Comodo deleted it.

I should have warned not to run it unless you actually have the pop up "warning" infections down by the clock in the system tray. Like all "cures" there could be side effects, but I use it almost every day and so far have had no problems and it does the job well.
