Good afternoon, I was looking for some help with a particular problem I've been having. My computer seems to have a terrible Spyware problem. I ran Spybot S&D, but AdAware won't run all the way through without freezing.
My computer won't stay up long enough for me to get online. It just lags terribly and then blue screens.
I am on a different computer now, but I am still at a loss for what I can do to fix my computer.
Will I have to reformat my harddrive?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
If you are getting the blue screen I would definatly format it. Do you have anti-virus software running? If so try to update it as it may be a virus not spyware. However you you manage to "remove" it if it is bad enough to give you a blue screen it would be best to format it. Save all your docs to a disk and when you format the pc put anti-virus on put the disk in and scan that to make sure nothing has transfered!
