Hi--
I installed Spy Sweeper a few weeks ago, and recently it brought 'KernalFaultCheck' to my attention. I didn't delete it because I wasn't sure if it had come with a legitimate program or a Windows update. Wish I knew more about these things. Any advice? Should I have SpySweeper remove it?
Thanks

Sorry it took so long for me to respond. Sometimes I have distractions,... it's called "work."

Thanks for your reply. I went to the site, followed the instructions for as long as they applied. I right clicked on 'My Computer', choose 'Properties', clicked 'Advanced', but there is no 'Settings' option. A box entitled 'Advanced Attributes' opens and it's giving me choiced about 'Archive and Index attributes' and 'Compress or Encrypt attributes'. I've follow the instructions from the site twice, and the same thing happens.
Thanks anyway

Get out of town!

Start>>My Computer>>Right Click>>Properties(at the very bottom)>>Advanced (tab)>>Startup and Recovery Settings(button)>>Write Debugging Information(Drop down arrow)>>Select "None"

I don't use Windows XP Home Edition, so post the message again if no one shows up with the solution. In the new thread start off by pasting the name of the site I sent you to, and explain that the instructions there don't work for XP Home.

Beauty of the high sierra,
