After 3 mths of using my new computer my test period for Spykiller ended and I am now getting messages every time I boot up that test period has ended and I will have to purchase Spykiller. I click that message off and another screen comes up with a link to purchase the program. I can't get rid of these messages and the program isn't listed in my 'add/remove' menu. Any suggestions anyone?

Remove all registry keys for Spykiller, then using Windows Explorer, delete all folders/files for it in the directory tree.

Sorry - The name was Spyware Killer but that doesn't really matter. I tried the regedit but it isn't listed there unless it's under some unrelated name that I'm not aware of. I did, however remove a couple of other pests so I'm happy about that. There is no uninstall listed in the add/remove either so I'm running out of ideas. Thanks for your help.

A couple of other things you might try. Smart Uninstaller has helped me at times remove a stubborn program.

Also, you might want to clean your registry with a reliable utility like RegSeeker. All changes are reversible (make sure the Backup box is checked).
