spybot error retreiving update info

I keep getting this error when trying to up-date Spybot. Is there a solution for this? 'socket error # 10060 connection timed out' Thanks

Try a different download location from the dropdown list.

I did try that Bryan and it says I have to specify a download so that didn't work. Now get this, I was getting that error for 2 days now and I just tried Spybot again at this moment and it said connection established and no new up-dates....WEIRD! Did anyone else have that same problem?

Which version are you running? May sound like a dumb question, but not everyone has the latest... I have v. 1.4 RC2b-the latest. Don't know if this is why, but just a guess.

According to Spybot Home Page: te latest detection update is 2005-05-12. Is this what you have?
