Spybot and DAP

I've just done a scan with Spybot and it's found 15 registry Keys all to do with Download Accelerator Plus ads. I've just installed DAP for the first time and paid for a license to remove the ad banner from the top of the program window. I know you have to put up with these ads if you want the free version. Can I allow Spybot to remove these keys, (I know it backs them up anyway) or will this affect the program. Is even a licensed version of DAP spyware, or are these keys just remnants of when I first installed it. It would appear that you get these ads even for the moment or two it takes to enter registration key and send via the Internet.
