Hello! Can you help please? I have a spooler problem in CMD I've tried "net start spooler' but this message comes up - "system cannot find file specifed" I think i've deleted the file because i thought it was a trojan! Arrrrrrrrrgh!!

Hi! Can you do a system restore? If not try doing a repair with the XP disk, this should replace all missing files.

Well, a reboot should restart your spooler service. Is this failing as well? If so, you have larger problems. Outside chance: look for a copy in: %systemroot%\system32\dllcache\net.exe You can also look for other command line tools to restart the spooler service. SC.exe from the resource kit comes to mind.
