SP2 stopped internet connection

I`ve just installed SP2 and can no longer get connected to broadband using Speedtouch 330. I changed over to a PCI broadband modem and this works OK. The Windows firewall is turned off. Can anyone help me get the speedtouch working again. Mike T.

I`ve removed SP2 and my internet connection has returned, but now the New Hardware Wizard keeps appearing asking me to install software for Intel(r)AIM External Flat Panel Driver 5 There is no indication of a problem in Device Manager and the Pc seems ok, so what is it? Mike T.
