Hi to all, yesterday, I installed SP2 (from MS France site) without any problem, apparently. But when I had to reboot after install completion, my notebook just restarted and restarted and restarted... Fortunately, I could restore an image of my system before the install of SP2. Strange, I posted yesterday a message about this problem, but it seems to have been cancelled from the list. Did anybody have the same problem ? Good luck ! Claude

Hi Wolfeymole, thanks for the info - I was suspecting something like this anyway. I have no more problems with SP2, as I gave up the idea of installing it. I got good antivirus and firewall software and always keep up-to-date with MS critical updates. So why look for trouble ? ... Cheers, Claude
