SP2 files left in system

I uninstalled SP2 after failed attempt to install but on cheaking in my search function I find that there are 39 files remaining in the system. What is my best course of action. Thanks for any response. Stewart

Use a restore point earlier than the date you installed SP2. That is if you have it turned on.
I always create a restore point before any major changes.

Thanks for your response Mick. My understanding is that the System Restore resets your settings to a previous time but does not touch your files. As I understand it (I hope) that is one of the more useful features of SR. In fact I had to run system restore to get my computer to function again as the attempt to install SP2 disconnected just about all functions, including my mouse (help). It took me quite a time before I could get any response from the system. I would like to think that as the files are there when eventually I get the abracadabra to install SP2 I will not have to go through the download performance again.
