SoundBlaster troubles

hi, i have soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS platinum. I cannot talk on mic on msn. I tried paltalk, and i can talk on mic, but I can't hear people.

So all these bugs with soundblaster. Any suggestions?

Danty, FWIW, first thing that comes to mind is driver. Be sure you have the correct one for the card. Also, be aware that sometimes you have to specifically select a microphone in order for it to work. Takes more than just the default settings.

Have you looked at the sound mixer? Check the sliders as there are two mic inputs.

Honestly With speakers so close to mic and how these chat programs work, seems a heapset with mic would be best.
Most have issues with feedback.
