Hi, I have a problem with alot of my MP3's, the vocals are very quiet on most of the tracks and the music is very tinny or echoey. I've tried re-installing the sound card driver and trying several different media player with no success - I'm stuck!!

broono, are you sure that you have the speakers plugged into the right port on the sound card? sometimes if you plug them into the wrong port sound will still play but very softly. if you have everything setup correctly then you probably just need a new sound card, you can get one for less than 15 bucks.
