I had no sound problems with windows ME. I have been trying to install XP and have been having sound issues. I manually turned off the onboard sound when first installing Me about two months ago. Im using a OEM Sound blaster Audigy sound card. I noticed when trying to get the latest xp updates that their was a patch for expanding compatability. Unfortunately, it didnt work. I also tried to get the latest driver off of soundblasters website-still no luck. I dont know what else to do?
