Comment:

I've run Windows Update and saw that a new sound driver was available. I downloaded it and now I get no sound at all no matter how many times I mess around in the Control Panel.

I want to be able to update the sound drivers for my sound card without hassil.

Any advice?

Thanks
J

Do you have the installation cd, or have you downloaded the drivers from your card's manufaturers driver support website and saved them to your disk? You can uninstall the drivers using add/remove programs and then reinstall the drivers that you had that worked properly.
