Hi, I was using yahoo voice chat. It was working fine. Since yesterday, person on the other side is not able to hear my voice. I can hear his voice but he cannot hear me. I tried the Hardware test under 'Sounds and Audio devices' in Control panel. Even Hardware test didn't pass. I am having 'SigmaTel C-Major Audio' driver . Please advice if it is a harware problem, some configuration problem or some other problem. How can it be resolved. I have also tried external headphone- mike but still the same. I can hear the voice of person on chat but they cannot hear me.

Hey If it was me I would try a system restore to before the problem started. Click on start/programs/accessories/system tools/system restore Choose a time that all worked well. Hope it works and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
