I just installed an Asus P4G8X Mobo and everything is working great but im having a prob with sound. My sound is fine in Windows but anytime I start any pc game the sound in the game has an echo.
My sound card is built on to the mobo, here what it is: ( Onboard Audio: Realtek ALC650 6-channel CODEC )
All my Drivers are up to date and my settings are on default. It has my speakers setup right. Again it works perfectly in windows but not in ANY games. thx for the help

Go to the microsoft web site and download DirectX 8, install that and see if that solves your problem. If your not using a DirectX 9 compatible Video Card then you would be better off using DirectX 8 anyway.
