My sound isnt working, and I have no idea why. I really dont have much experience in the sound department of computers, so I wont try to sound like I know what I'm talking about. In the sound options in Control Panel, it has all the drivers in the last tab. I try to go to Volume Control and it says I have no audio mixer, I have no idea what that means. I checked all the cables and everything else, it was all fine, says all the drivers are installed. Please help me.

DirectSound test results: Failure at step 3 (DirectSoundCreate): HRESULT = 0x8878000a (The request failed because DirectSound resources, such as the priority level, were already in use by another caller.)
That showed up under DXDIAG in the sound tab when I tried to test the Directsound thing.

Right click on "My computer" and click "hardware" and click on Device manager, then go down to the name called "sound, video and game controllers" and go to your sound card and push right click on it and push unistall on each of them until some are non-unistallable then restart your computer and all should be OK can't do more than that for a sound problem.
P.S. If all goes well check my website out at www.geocities.com/martingonnella and put in a good word in my guestbook OK hope it goes well.
