Don't know much about this topic but just to say that hardware is not something you can "download" if that's what you mean. Hardware is pieces of actual kit, such as circuit. cards etc. You can, however, download drivers (software) in order to run hardware properly.
Whatever, wait for someone to respond who knows all about this in detail.
