Hi can someone please help! i have re-installed windows xp and lost all my drivers and i can't find the driver for my sound card i do not no what make/model it is it is on the motherboard and that does not indicate what that is either any other way of finding out and getting a driver. Thanks Allan

Look on the computer manufacturer's website for the chipset drivers if it's onboard sound. Open the case and look at the card for info if it is an add on card.

You could also try running a program called everest home edition. its free, available on a google search, and will tell what each and every peice of your pc is. It also gives you a handy tool of system health, cpu tempereature, fan speeds etc.
